This is a unique way to see the Missouri River Breaks and the National Monument sites from our private land. As a family-owned farm and ranch, we are serious about preserving the land and doing low impact riding.
What to Expect - Full Day Tour
- The day would start out by meeting in Fort Benton at your leisure, preferably around 8:00 am.
- Take a scenic, 45 minute vehicle drive in our vehicle out to Eagle Buttes Farm and Ranch.
- Saddle up the "iron ponies" and do some gentle riding through the "coulees", stopping to see the sites, the history, and the wildlife. The land and the breaks can be dangerous. Safe riding is paramount and precautions will be taken to ensure everyone's safety.
- A relaxing lunch is provided with refreshments. Please let us know about special diets a week before the trip.
- After lunch we have lots of options to do more riding, do some hiking into the canyons, or both.
- Late afternoon we will have a refreshment, unsaddle, and head back to Fort Benton. Returning around 4-5:00 PM.
[HALF DAY TOUR does not include lunch, but can be added for $10 / person. Total tour time is
approximately 4 - 5 hours and can be done in the morning, afternoon or evening.]
