WHAT WAS IT: A fun guided ride through the Missouri River Breaks Country on private land and in the National Monument. We saw some of the beautiful sights that you would experience on our other guided ATV tours...white rock cliffs, canyons, wildlife.
Ride was provided in conjunction with Montana Trail Vehicle Riders Association (MTVRA).
WHEN: May 5-6, 2006
WHERE: Ride departed from / returned to Fort Benton (Chouteau County) fairgrounds.
THE RIDE: The ride was guided. We paraded through Fort Benton to a short section of highway, through an old rail road tunnel en route to country / back roads of the Missouri River Breaks. We rode the EagleRider Adventure Ranch to see the National Monument filled with white rock cliffs, canyons and wildlife. (Lunch provided at ranch.) Then we crossed the famous Missouri River Ferry to the near-ghost town of Virgelle, stopping at Virgelle for refreshments. We wound our way back to Fort Benton for the evening entertainment at the fairgrounds - the Spring Eye Opener Demolition Derby.
TURNOUT: The number of riders totaled 203! What an amazing experience for us. Thank you to all the riders that participated in the event.
FUTURE EVENTS: It is our goal to have smaller groups of ATV riders return and only ride the EagleRider Adventure Ranch. We will trailer the ATVs to the Ranch and spend a day or two seeing more of the sites. Riders of the Jamboree only saw a taste of what we have to offer! Call or e-mail for pricing for your individual groups. In addition to the ATV tours, we can provide meals, camping, canoeing and hiking! Look forward to hearing from you.
